Weissman Firm Hires Experienced Agricultural Bookkeeper

( Great Falls; August 18^th, 2004 ) – Wendy J. Weissman, CPA , today announced that Sherri Van Vleet, a bookkeeper with over thirty years experience, has accepted a position as a bookkeeper here.

Van Vleet, a former grain clerk with Columbia Grain, International for over twelve years, brings an expertise on agricultural bookkeeping to the Weissman accounting practice.

“When one of our clients brings in receipts for seed, feed, fertilizer or chemicals, I know what they are talking about” said Van Vleet.  “I have been around all parts of farming, from the purchase of seed to the selling of the harvest.  I enjoy working with farmers and ranchers.”

Van Vleet performs bookkeeping and payroll services, and assists the firm in tax preparation and the preparation for financial statements.

A long-time  Black Eagle resident, Van Vleet has two daughters, two grandsons and is married to a retired letter carrier.
